We’re award-winning live musicians in Sydney with over 15 years of experience performing wedding music, corporate music, and party favourites across NSW and Australia. As one of the most versatile Sydney cover bands, our repertoire features over 500 songs — from acoustic pop, jazz, and French music to Latin, lounge, soul, and lively dance tracks.
We love creating memorable musical experiences for every event. Along with popular cover songs, we perform original music, improvise live, and for multicultural events take foreign language song requests in English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Russian, Hindi, and more.
Our band features award-winning talent with the honeyed vocals of singer-songwriter Niyati Libotte, who began her jazz career in France, and virtuosic guitarist Gavin Libotte from the acclaimed Latin jazz fusion band Urban Gypsies.
If you are looking for a live band or wedding band in Sydney, we provide flexible packages to suit your event needs. Book us as an intimate duo or trio for ceremonies, cocktail hour and dinner music, and a full quartet (4 piece) or quintet (5 piece) for dancing. We offer Bass, Drums, Saxophone, Trumpet, Cello, Violin, Keys, Piano Accordion or other instruments on request, and even a pro DJ for the ultimate experience.
Whether it’s a party, life celebration, ball or corporate function, we will make your night unforgettable with elegant, world-class live music as legendary as the Hollywood film.

Niyati and Gavin played at our wedding last Saturday and they were amazing. They played the music I selected and their own song Ballooning Over Paris which I love while we were signing the wedding certificate. They have a great sound, are friendly and well presented and very easy to work with. Thank you for making our wedding ceremony so special. It was the added touch of music that made our day extra special. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Five star service!

I recently attended a function held at the John Colet school and was pleasantly surprised. The band looked great and played a wonderful selection of music at the perfect volume to create an upbeat atmosphere. Everyone stayed to the end and really enjoyed themselves. Thank you band for making it a lovely night for all.

Exceptional musos and good humans. We had them at our wedding and they smashed it: able to play across a huge range of genres and were super approachable when the kids approached them again and again for requests.

We would like to thank Gavin and Niyati for playing at our ceremony. We absolutely loved the music and it created such an amazing atmosphere. We took longer to walk down the aisle than we thought and they adjusted the song to suit our timing on the spot. Absolutely incredible through the whole ceremony.

We supply both! It's not really a case of either / or, but perhaps And. From over 15 years experience at thousands of events, the most memorable and rich moments always happen where there is a live element to create warmth and settle everyone in, and we thoroughly recommend live music feature for at least the first half or 2/3 of your event. After everybody has socialised, networked, and formalities are over, it's a smooth moment to shift over to DJ - if you haven’t the space or budget for a live band - to get everyone dancing.
Earlier is always better. Leaving music till the last minute means you are limited in options as the best musicians book out early, especially for popular dates on the calendar. 3 months ahead is recommended, though you may be lucky and secure us a few weeks or even a few days out. It’s always worth checking in as we have a wide network and can usually find you the perfect fit even if we are prebooked.
We aim to take the stress completely out of booking your entertainment. Just send the details of your event (address, date, timing, etc) and we will email you the booking sheet to check and sign off, with deposit details for 30%. Once signed off your date is locked in and we organise the fine points over email. The Balance is due 4 weeks before your event date.
Even the best laid plans can go awry. That’s why we offer one complimentary date change should your event be delayed. If we are unavailable on the new date we will provide a replacement of equivalent quality and skill. In the event of cancellation outright your deposit is refundable up to 90 days before the event.
Song selection comes down to your taste and what songs really speak to you individually and as a couple, and we will happily learn the songs that speak to you. That said, here are some guidelines to help get your juices flowing...
For the Ceremony, there are three main songs to consider:
1. Processional - the most important moment when the Bride walks down the aisle.
2. Signing - the longest musical interlude, we'll stretch out the song if need be.
3. Recessional - conclusion music, usually short and upbeat.
Traditional pieces, classic pop songs, ballads, foreign...all can be adapted.
First Dance possibilities are endless but base it on your ideal tempo and skill level for partner dancing. We adapt all sorts of tunes so don't feel limited by genre. If you're a Kate Bush fan, dig Rick Astley or INXS, we'll make the song perfect for the moment 🙂 Please see our repertoire list for further ideas.
Heck yes, it's your event and the music you want should absolutely be incorporated into the repertoire. We have learned, adapted and performed obscure songs like an 80's Tartar hit, old-school Persian ballad, Irish tunes from a specific tiny village, even jazz songs in Mandarin. We recommend sending through your special requests at least 2 weeks before your date to give adequate time to prepare.
That said, it is also a good idea to include classic songs that everyone will enjoy. Striking the right balance is important and a seasoned professional knows how to get this right.
